A loan of $1,850 helped a member to buy costume jewelry sets & Pranday (an ornament used to tie back the hair) for resale.

Perveen's Group's story

Perveen is married and her husband is involved in selling plastic toys. He puts toys on his cart and visits different streets of the city to sell them. Children like his toys very much and he makes good profits every month.

Perveen also supports her family by selling costume jewelry and Pranday (an ornament used to tie back the hair). She has given birth to a son who is studying in class one.

She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for the further expansion of her costume jewelry and Pranday selling business. With the loan, she will buy jewelry sets and Pranday in bulk quantities which will allow her to make more sales and earn larger profits.

She has been operating her business for the past 12 years and she is very confident about the growth of her business as a result of an investment.

Note: In the photo, the lady with a book (called Asasah Passbook) is Perveen.
