Kwizera Group's story

Angele, 38, lives in the Gatumba neighborhood of the Mairie district of Bujumbura. She has been selling various cellphone accessories and foodstuffs such as bananas for two years. She managed to stay in school up to fifth grade. She is a widow with five children who are enrolled in school.

The Kiva loan of 250,000 Burundi francs that she is receiving will permit her to add to her working capital to buy lots of cellphone accessories and foodstuffs to sell so as to expand her business and make more profit.

She is a member of the community group « KWIZERA».
