Ndiaga Mahtar's story

The borrower manages a grocery store in his village. He gets his supplies from the city, 10 miles away, and has succeeded in attracting a large clientele from neighboring villages due to his good credibility. With the profits generated by his business, he provides for most of his family's needs. To increase his working capital and satisfy the strong demand, he is requesting a 400,000 XOF loan, with which to purchase 15 bags of rice and 100 liters of cooking oil. His ambition is to turn his shop into a wholesale store to supply the grocery stores in his area.
