A loan of $850 helped to bolster her grocery business.

Penina's story

Penina is a merchant who was born in Rwanda. She is married and 30 years old, and she has a 3-year-old child. She has six years of secondary education. This loan cycle is her second one with ACB. Penina is going to use her loan for bolstering her grocery business. No difficulties at all are expected in repaying her loan.

Her strategy for business growth is to improve the quality of service she provides and to buy quality goods to attract customers. As for her ambitions, Penina would like to open more grocery stores in different regions, to build houses for her family, to cover the school fees for her children, and to take care of them.
