Mujeres Cumplidas X Group's story

This group is called "Mujeres Cumplidas X" (Accomplished Women X) because they are a group of very accomplished people who, based on their loans, have been able to grow and advance. One form of doing this is by working and being responsible and accountable to the entire community and to their families and fulfilling their loan obligations. The group is located in the state of Puebla, in Mexico.

Señora Claudia is the president of the group. She is 38 years old, is married, and has a daughter who is 15. She has a sewing workshop in her home. She comments that with much effort and dedication she has been able to bring up her daughter so that she can continue with her studies. She is applying for the loan to invest in her business for the beginning of the next school year, since she has orders for school uniforms, and so she will buy fabric and thread. With her earnings, she will continue investing in her business and in addition contribute something towards her daughter's school supplies.
