A loan of $1,000 helped to buy belts and boots.

Cayetano Samuel's story

Cayetano, 70, was born in the city of Jinotega. He is married and has two grown children, 24 and 21 years old respectively. He has sold leather boots and belts for the past 24 years.
His first business was selling shoes but he decided, together with his family, to include new products such as belts and boots. He requested a loan to buy different styles of belts and boots and now these are top sellers in the market and he can offer his customers better quality and variety.
Cayetano tells us that he learned about his products in the Expica-Managua Market and this is the way he gets a higher income. He wishes to enlarge his shop and add more workers and thus have more products in his inventory. His next goal is to request new financing to invest more in his business.
