A loan of $375 helped to pay for school uniforms and other school-related expenses.

Ana Alejandra's story

Sra. Ana Alejandra and her husband, Sr. Jesus Ramon, have two children. They are applying for a loan so that they can buy school uniforms (clothing and shoes) and other school supplies--books, notebooks, pencils, binders and backpacks, for example. They don't want their children to miss the coming school-year, but they don't have enough money now to send them. They plan to repay the loan from Sr. Jesus Ramon's earnings from his job at a factory. Sra. Ana Alejandra works at home, tending the family.
