David is 29 years old and lives in the town of Kijura in the Gulu region of Uganda. He is married and has four children. Two of his children are currently in school. David has a barber salon business, which he has had for three years.
To help expand his business, David has requested a loan of 1,000,000 Ugandan shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase a sterilizer machine for the hair. With the help of the loan from BRAC, David hopes to generate greater profits and pay school fees. In the future, David hopes to expand his business. David is a member of BRAC’s Small Enterprise (SEP) program, which has helped his prospects for the future by improving his business.
