A loan of $2,250 helped to expand the variety of products.

Mavluda's story

Mavluda was born in the town of Karakol in the Issyk-Kul province where she now lives. She was born and raised in the middle income class family and after graduating from school she got married and gave birth to her first son in 1986. To provide for her family with all the necessary things she had to work very hard.

Right now she has three children - a daughter and two sons. Her youngest son and daughter go to school. In 2004 Mavluda decided to start her own business in the trade of consumer goods. When she began her business with a starting capital of 20,000 soms (KGS) she was able to develop her business and to this day her monthly profit is around 10,000 soms.

Mavluda's small trade pavilion with a size of two by three meters is very popular due to a good variety of products offered, but unfortunately it does not allow to increase the volume of sales. This is why Mavluda decided to come to Bai Tushum and Partners to ask for a loan in the amount of 100,000 KGS to increase the variety of her products. She plans to invest the profit in purchasing of another pavilion on the local market.
