Ernestine is a 35-year-old Rwandan entrepreneur with four children between the ages of two and eleven. Her husband works as a driver.
For the past 15 years, Ernestine has been running a business selling vegetables. The success of this business has enabled her to pay her children’s medical insurance. She is requesting this loan to purchase three baskets of tomatoes, 100kg of peanuts, and 20 liters of cooking oil that she can sell at a profit. With her future profits, she plans to pay her children's school fees, feed her family, and make savings.
