Kisukuru Group's story

Suzana, who is in her late 20s, is married with two children. One of her children goes to school. She has had a charcoal business for six months now. She works from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and is able to make a small monthly profit.

This will be her first loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She wants to use the loan to buy more sacks of charcoal. Her dream is to one day be able to open a shop to sell rice.

She will share this loan with her loan group "Kisukuru", which has a total of 15 members who will hold each other accountable in paying back their loans.
