A loan of $1,075 helped to buy cell phone accessories.

Roberto Vinicio's story

Roberto is 32 years old and single. He lives in the Tumbaco parish in the city of Quito. Three years ago he set up his business in the Pifo parish in the La Libertad neighborhood. He is the proprietor of a place that offers services for phone calls and the internet. He also sells cell phone accessories.

Robert’s work day is long. As the proprietor of his business he has to be there from opening until closing every day from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. He took various courses to be able to offer the service of repairing cell phones.

However, he now needs to buy the replacement parts and the tools to be able to do so. He went to the Fundación Alternativa to request a loan that will allow him to expand his business. He will provide repair services to his customers, and he will also buy more accessories to sell.

He tells us that it has been very difficult to start because he had difficulty getting working capital as it was a new business. Now he considers himself to be well on his way. He is sure that he will be able to make his business grow.

He wishes to improve his quality of live, increase his income, and to be able to help his family.
