La Presa 1 Group's story

This group is called “La Presa 1” (The Dam 1) and is located in the State of México. The town is noted for its beautiful festivals, for its hardworking, enterprising residents, for its vast, green fields and for the humility of each of its inhabitants. The group has nine members.

Luz is group President. She started her business five years ago consisting in catalogue clothing and shoe sales. She needs a loan to buy shoes and clothes in various sizes, styles and colors that her customers request from her because they place large orders and sometimes she does not have enough money to stock her business.

She is 42 years old and went up to elementary school. She stands out in town for being a person with a strong will to work, always wanting to provide her family with the best every day. She lives happily married and with one of her children who is 19 years old. She will use profits obtained to save up to continue to reinvest in her business so as not to feel pressured by the next orders she gets.
