A loan of $1,000 helped a member to buy gas for welding.

Kpedetin Group's story

The KPEDETIN group is composed of three persons who live in the same neighborhood. It is the second time that this group is requesting a loan from ALIDé, to raise the level of their businesses. The representative of the group, Comlan Gratien, is the one who is raising his hand in the photo.

Comlan Gratien, 46, lives in Bénin. He is married to a housewife named Jeanne. The couple have two children, both enrolled in school, and both under their roof.

Comlan Gratien did not attend school very much. To support himself and his children, he learned the trade of welding. He has been working at this trade for about 12 years. He buys his welding materials in a town in Bénin. Wishing to satisfy his clientele and grow his turnover and thus his income, he is requesting his second loan together with the members of his group, KPEDETIN. The first loan was correctly reimbursed.

In this group: Comlan Gratien, M. Bruno, S. Yves
