Jaqueline is a 31-year-old Rwandan entrepreneur with two children, ages 3 and 6 years old. Her husband works as a technician and she sells vegetables. She has run this business for the past seven years, and the profits it has generated have enabled her to feed her family. She requires a loan so she can purchase more vegetables such as tomatoes, peanuts, and onions, that she will sell for a profit. With the future profits from her business, she plans to pay for her children’s school fees and accumulate savings.
