Sylivie is a 32-year-old Rwandan entrepreneur who, for the past ten years, has run a business selling vegetables and fruit such as onions and berries. Her husband works in house construction and the couple has three children between the ages of three and nine years old. The profits from Sylivie’s business have enabled her to pay the school fees for her children.
Sylivie is requesting a loan to purchase more vegetables that she will sell for a profit. She plans to use the future profits from her business to begin construction on her family’s house.
