Ma Del Rosario
María is a person who is concerned about her family’s wellbeing. She has gradually been furnishing her house because she likes that when her family visits they feel comfortable. Because of this she’d like to buy a door for the entrance to the house because the current one is damaged and she comments that when her grandchildren come visit they are in danger of running out into the street and being run over. For this reason she is grateful for the support provided by the institution to carry out this project.

About Housing Loans

Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
