The solidarity group Sop Serigne Cheikh was created on 27 December 2010 and comprises 16 women who are from the same town and are mainly active in running small retail businesses and animal rearing.

Ms. Ndéye Codou, the group leader, is a 29-year-old married mother of four. She raises animals but also runs a small retail business; she is dressed in yellow and standing all the way on the right in the photo.

She owns many goats and sheep that she sells at the weekly market days, where she buys fruits and vegetables to re-sell at her town.

Her loan will serve to diversify her business by buying other products to sell in order to earn more income.

She participates in providing for her family by taking care of food and clothing needs.
Le groupe de solidarité Sop Serigne Cheikh est créé depuis le 27 décembre 2010, il est composé de seize femmes qui sont du même village et qui ont comme activités principales le petit commerce et l'élevage.

Madame Ndéye Codou la responsable est âgée de 29 ans, mariée mère de quatre enfants elle est éleveuse mais mène aussi une activité de petit commerce; elle est debout à droite à l'extrême sur la photo habillée en jaune.

Elle posséde beaucoup de chèvres et moutons qu'elle vend dans les marchés hebdomadaires où elle achéte les fruits et légumes pour les revendre dans son village.

Son prêt lui servira à diversifier son commerce en achetant d'autres produits à vendre pour se faire plus de revenus.

Elle participe à la prise en charge de sa famille par la nourriture et l'habillement.
