A loan of $375 helped to buy brick making supplies.

Elena's story

Elena, 31, lives with her husband and two children in her own house. Her wish to improve herself led her to successfully start a family business that today is solid and, together with her husband, she continues putting all her efforts into it. She’s been manufacturing bricks for 11 and a half years; she makes them by the thousands. She remembers how in the beginning she’d sell bricks made by other factories but gradually managed to save up and rent a spacious lot where she now makes the bricks herself. Since she already knew the market dynamics she was able to quickly secure customers and launch her business. For the future she hopes to stock up on raw materials in order not to stop making bricks. She believes that in order to grow one has to rely on loans, something she’s learned first hand working with MFP on 11 loan opportunities to date. She will use the requested funds to buy the raw materials she always uses to make bricks.
