A loan of $675 helped to buy basic grains with 40% of her loan and new clothing and cosmetics with the rest.

Claudia Isabel's story

Claudia has her own business, a pulperia [small grocery store] and she has also been selling Avon cosmetics for five years. She started with very little and with her own money. Her husband works as a service technician at a gas station.

Claudia is the mother of two children. Her goal is to be able to give her little ones all the best, which is why she aims to increase her capital, to sell more products, and to add new clothing to capture new customers.

This is her second loan cycle with AFODENIC. Thanks to her last loan, she was able to buy more products. She will use this new loan to buy clothing for children, undergarments for women and men, hair products, "masaya"-style sandals, a variety of cosmetics, lipstick, shampoo, deodorant, lip gloss, perfumes, Coca Cola products, juices, dairy products, and basic grains. She hopes to obtain higher sales so that it will become easier to sell her new products because she will already have customers.
