El Salvador
El Salvador / Farm Supplies

A loan of $1,000 helped to buy manure.

Maria Antonia's story

María lives with her children. She sells assorted new clothes and tamales Her children help her with the farming growing corn. She’s had her business for the last three years but she always watches over her crops.

She is asking for the loan for her four manzana (Central American land measure) corn field because she has to have farming supplies to apply to it so that it will produce better, more abundant crops; she needs ample amounts of manure.

Her goal with this loan is to improve this year’s harvest. She hopes that weather conditions will be favorable in order not to have any difficulties.
