Amina (group leader) is 31 years old and married with three children. She runs a small restaurant. She wants to pay school fees for the children with the extra business profits. Prossy wants to buy poultry feed with the loan. Molly intends to purchase more matooke, while Farida wants to purchase more shoes to sell with the new loan.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
