A loan of $1,200 helped to buy raw materials (70 grams of gold and 150 grams of silver) to make his jewelry.

Juan Carlos's story

Juan Carlos is 34 years old and lives in the city of León. He is the father of three teenage children. HIs wife is a housewife and he is a jeweler by trade. This is a profession that Juan Carlos learned thanks to his father who taught him to work in this business when he was very young. He has been working independently for ten years now. Juan Carlos owns small and humble premises in the market at León bus station. Through this business, he has managed to support his family. He is the only one who supports his household.

Juan Carlos requested this loan to buy raw materials (70 grams of gold and 150 grams of silver) to make his jewelry. With this investment, he plans to have the raw materials he needs available so that he can fill his orders and vary his designs. He would like to continue in his business and make it prosper. He would also like to sow some land that his father left him. His goals include buying glass and metal shelves on which to display his designs, improving the appearance of his business and being able to expand throughout the city.
