Manuel Antonio's story

Manuel Antonio is a hard working man with a strong drive to improve his family’s wellbeing. His business is a grocery store where he’s also invested in vegetables to increase capital benefitting from the profits which are used to cover basic payments like water, electricity and his children’s schooling.

He has had many difficulties a huge one being the death of his newborn daughter and the theft of a horse that was his means of transportation. His family is reaching emotional and economic stability as well as being able to provide good service to customers since this small business is their means of support.

Manuel has helped himself to increase products through five cycles of Afodenic loans. He will use this new loan to buy basic grains by the quintal: rice, sugar, corn and beans and large jugs of oil, a case of soap, toilet paper, Maruchan soups, Maggi soups, Ace, snacks and soft drinks with the goal in mind of keeping his clientele by offering a variety of products which are most consumed.
