Benedicta's story

Sra. Benedicta is a member of the MUJERES EN ACCION community bank in the Peruvian "departamento" of Cusco.

Sra. Benedicta is partnered and has 3 children: 5-years, 4-years and 7-months old, respectively. She operates a business raising guinea pigs that she then sells at local markets. She is applying for a loan so that she can buy 50 guinea pigs--to add to the 60 that she has no-- and the supplies she needs to care for them. She will raise and breed the animals so that she can sell them when they're ready for market.

Sra. Benedicta is very thankful for the support that this kind of lending provides and is committed to repaying the loan in the agreed-upon time.
