A loan of $2,525 helped to buy new fall merchandise before wholesale prices rise.

Anna's story

Anna is a young entrepreneur from Zaporozhye. She sells polish-made children's items (outerwear, undergarments, hats and baby carriers) at one of the largest markets in the city - Angolenko. Her goods offer the best quality for a reasonable price, Anna believes. Although she has held this job only for three years, Anna has become very experienced and acquired good salesmanship.

Anna opened her business with help from her mother, who gave her a market stall and assisted financially. During these three years, Anna has invested 40,000 grivna's into her business and her monthly profit is about 6,000 grivna's. Anna is asking for a loan of 20,000 grivna's to purchase new fall clothing before wholesale prices rise. Anna plans to open a new sales point in the near future.
