A loan of $200 helped to buy balanced feed.

Jose Adalberto's story

José is 32 years old and single. He lives in his parents’ home, located in the rural district of Tambogrande, which is part of the Piura department. The home does not have running water or electricity. This zone is known for its farming, livestock, and arts.

José has been raising and selling sheep for several years and currently has 30 sheep in his corral, located a few minutes from his home. He feeds his animals balanced feed and natural grasses so that they reach the ideal size and weight and he can sell them in the different markets within the zone. In this way he earns the money necessary to pay his personal expenses.

He is asking for this loan of 500 PEN through Edpyme Alternativa so he can buy balanced feed to fatten up his animals and sell them for better prices. He also wants to make improvements to his corral. This way, he can increase his income and be able to repay his loan and complete some other projects that he is behind on. José is a hard working person with a desire to get ahead and help his parents financially through his own efforts.
