Kuña Pyapy Mbarete Group's story

The women of the present committee are from the city of Caacupe. They formed at the initiative of one of their own who heard about the program for enterprising women, and since she liked the idea very much, decided to tell her friends and neighbors. As a result, they decided to get together and organize. They are very sacrificing women, in their majority heads of families. At present, there are 12 members and they are in their 4th loan cycle.

Mrs. Epifania lives with her husband and children. She is an artisan who by means of her work, is able to help sustain her family. Epifania says that she is very proud of what she is able to do through her efforts, not only generating income to help with household expenses but also, promoting Paraguayan artisan crafts. Her dream is to have a gallery where she can exhibit her artisan work.

Epifania is requesting a loan to buy cloth, thread, coloring and other supplies for the elaboration of her artisan crafts. She has her heart set on the loan, since she knows it will be of great help to her.
