A loan of $1,900 helped a member to buy sheets, covers, clothes and other items.

Mujeres Emprendedroras Group's story

The 'Mujeres Emprendedoras' (Entrepreneurial Women) committee was formed thanks to the initiative of Eligia who had heard about the project and decided to find out more. As she really liked what she heard, she organized a group of friends and neighbors from her area. The group is currently in its second loan cycle with ten members. They completed their first loan cycle without any problems. They have demonstrated mutual unity and solidarity. The women describe themselves as very hard working and tenacious.

Zunilda is a saleswoman who sells all kinds of items. Thanks to her work, she is able to make a little extra income and cover her household expenses. She tells us that she has a lot of customers as she stocks all kinds of products. She would like to be able to expand her business some day so that she has more capacity.

Zunilda is requesting this loan to buy sheets, covers, clothes and other items to sell.

In this group: Mirta, Barcilisa, Eligia, Marina, Lilian, Ceila, Anita, Zunilda, Dori, Gloria
