Mburucuja Group's story

'Mburucuja' is the name of this group of 11 women from the city of Pilar who came together because they had heard about the Entrepreneurial Women Program. The idea attracted them and they decided to form a group. They are currently on their third loan cycle

Mariela sells all kinds of food. She tells us that she is a very good cook and that her customers really enjoy her meals. She describes herself as a good cook which is why she has a lot of customers who appreciate her good food. She dreams of some day being able to own a small bar where she can sell her meals.

Mariela is requesting a loan to buy the supplies she needs to make her food such as meat, eggs, spices and other products.

In this group: Mariela, Edit, Johana, Angela, Sandra, Norma, Carolina, Carla, Hilda, Natalia*, Gloria*
