A loan of $675 helped a member to purchase livestock.

Aiturgan's Group's story

Aiturgan is the leader of this group. She is 20 and married to a constructor, whose monthly salary is 5000 soms. She and her husband are raising a baby together. Six years ago Aiturgan’s parents presented her with a calf, and since then she has been breeding farm animals. She earns an additional 4000 soms per month, fattening and reselling animals at the highest price. This profit helped her improve their family’s living conditions. With money received from the loan, Aiturgan wants to purchase more livestock for breeding. In future she wants to purchase a piece of land to start building a new house.
