Aitaji's Group's story

Aitaji is the leader of this group. She is 58 and married to a teacher whose monthly salary is 1000 soms. Together they have raised a son, 36, who is married and works in construction. Aitaji cultivates potatoes and breeds cattle to earn money. By reselling cattle at a higher price and from a portion of the harvest, she contributes an additional 5000 soms to the family budget. Aitaji applied for the loan because she needs additional funds to purchase a bull-calf. In the future she wishes to purchase a vehicle for the family.
