Martha Elizabeth's story

Martha, 27, lives with her husband and children in her own house that has electricity and running water and is located in Mórrope District which belongs to Lambayeque Department. This zone is dedicated to farming, raising livestock and crafts making.

For several years Martha has been raising small farm animals (pigs, cows and barnyard fowl) to sell. The corrals are located in her back yard. They are spacious and apt and she feeds the animals nutritionally balanced animal feed so that they will reach optimum growth and she can sell them in the various local markets and obtain good profits to cover family expenses.

She has asked Edpyme Alternativa for a 1000 new sol loan to buy more animals and to improve the corrals. She will use profits from the animal sales to repay the loan and to have a better quality of life. Martha is a woman who with effort and work together with her husband moves her children forward.
