Maria Concepcion's story

María is 62 and lives with her husband and son in the rural district of Túcume, in the Departament of Lambayeque. This region is known for its agriculture, livestock and tourism. For some years, Maria has raised and sold sheep in the back of her house, using balanced feed and natural pasture to grow them to optimum size. She sells them in local markets and has earned solid profits to provide for her family's expenses. Maria now seeks a credit of 2,000 soles from Edpyme Alternativa to buy additional animals and feed stock, to increase her earnings. María is a hard worker and very responsable, who is eager to see her family prosper.
