A loan of $4,525 helped a member to buy more products for her store.

Las Pascuas Group's story

Vicenta is 40 years old and married. She didn't have the opportunity to attend school. She has 12 children, 4 of whom are in school. She sews and also works in commerce as she has a store where she sells basic household products. She started out with just a little capital and now has eight years experience. She has the support of her husband who also works in commerce.

Vicenta decided to form a group so that she could request a loan that would help expand her working capital and enable her to buy more products for her store. She will buy soda, juice, candies, canned food, cereals and other products as she would like to have a large, well-stocked store. The other members of this group work in farming, commerce and handicrafts.
