Lorenza's story

Quillabamba is the capital city of the La Convención province. It is an important commercial center for the Lares and La Convención valleys. Its primary business activities are the production of coca, coffee, cacao, and fruits.

Lorenza is 65 years old, and she has three children. She was born in the city of Urubamba, Urubamba province, Cusco, Perú. However, she now lives in the Chongona community, which is 45 minutes from the city of Quillamba (La Convención, Cusco).

She devotes herself to growing coffee, cacao, annatto, and fruits.

On this occasion she needs a loan to pay the salaries of the field workers who help her clear the weeds from her cropland.
