Aminata is the leader of this group of entrepreneurs. Aminata, 35, was born in Kenema. She is married to a trader and they have two children. One of her children is in secondary school and one is in college. Aminata sells cassava leaves and has been a businesswoman for many years now. With the help of this loan, Aminata and her group members will be able to expand their businesses, make more sales and consequently improve their living conditions. Aminata will use her share of the loan (SLL 500,000) to buy a large quantity of cassava leaves to sell. She also plans to buy gallons of palm oil to add a different product to her business.
