A loan of $1,450 helped a member to purchase livestock.

Guluskan's Group's story

Guluskan is the leader of this group. She is 26 and married to a construction worker. She and her husband are raising a boy and a girl. Two years ago Guluskan’s parents presented her with two livestock animals. In two years, she increased the number of livestock to 12 animals. She contributes about 10,000 soms per month to the family budget by reselling livestock after fattening them. Guluskan applied for the loan because she needs additional money for purchasing more livestock for breeding. In the future, with money gained from reselling livestock, she wishes to purchase a vehicle. --- Where Did This Loan Come From? --- This loan is brought to you by Mol Bulak Finance (MBF), a young, ambitious and socially-focused Microfinance Institution in Kyrgyzstan.
