Carmen Araceli's story

Carmen is 35 years old and lives in her mother's home together with her daughter. Her home is located in a town in Oyotún district, in Lambayeque department, in the north of the country.

Carmen has been selling candies for three years. This has allowed her to gain experience and customers for her business. She works selling candies, soda and other products that children consume, from a kiosk located in a school.

Carmen is requesting a loan for 2,000 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa so that she can buy more merchandise for her business such as cookies and other products. She would like to be able to expand her business as she plans to set up kiosks in other places so that she can increase her family income.

Carmen is very well known in her area as a good person. She has good references from her neighbors and friends.
