A loan of $1,000 helped to purchase flour, sugar, eggs, tomatoes, pork, cheese, and corn.

Alba Nelis's story

Alba sells sweet bread, pupusas, and drinks. She lives with her daughter and grandson. Alba sells bread as a street vendor and pupusas and drinks at the municipal fairs. These businesses are the source of income by which she is able to feed her family.

Alba is currently requesting a loan to buy ingredients for making bread such as flour, sugar, and eggs, as well as tomatoes, pork, cheese, and corn for making pupusas. With this investment, she will be able to improve her businesses and have enough supplies for making pupusas.

Her aspiration is to own a home because she currently lives in a rental property with her family. For this reason, she strives each day to generate income for her household.
