Virgen De Chapi De Yanacoto Group's story

Yda is a member of the "Virgen D. Chapi D. Yanacoto" community bank. This bank is maD. up of 13 responsible and united women.

Yda is from Huánuco but has lived in Lima for more than 40 years. She is married and has four children who live independently. Yda's business is weaving accessories with thread and yarn. Her business came about as she had the opportunity to learn thanks to some acquaintances who taught her how to weave. Now she tells us that twice a week she gives weaving classes in her home. Through her efforts, Yda has been able to proviD. her children with an education and improve her home. Yda's wish is to finish building her home so that she can rent out rooms and fit out a space in which she can carry out her weaving.

With this loan, Yda is planning to buy thread and yarn in larger quantities as it works out cheaper that way. Yda and her "Virgen D. Chapi D. Yanacoto" community bank are very happy with the Prosperidad Program. In the photo, Yda is the lady wearing the green-striped sweater.
