A loan of $925 helped to prepare new premises for his business.

Andrés's story

Andrés is a member of the "Siempre Viva" community bank. He is 49 years old and lives with his wife and 11 year-old son. Andrés is the owner of a business where he serves typical Ayacucho food such as ''cuy chactado' (fried guinea pig), 'chicharrones' (pork rinds), trout and tripe. He is requesting this loan to open another business in premises that his friend is going to lend him. The plot of land has two swimming pools. Andrés has been with FINCA Peru for two years and what he most likes about FINCA Peru is the harmony that exists between the members. He says that the unity of his community bank helps him to get ahead. Since he joined FINCA Peru, Andrés feels that he has become a more responsible and punctual person. His dream is to give his son the childhood that he never had himself.
