A loan of $550 helped to pay for maintenance of his motorcycle taxi.

Juan Alberto's story

Juan is 26 years old, single, and lives at his mother’s house. They receive services such as running water and electricity. Juan resides in the Department of Lambayque, where the local villagers make their living through agriculture, livestock breeding, and tourism.

Juan drives his own motorcycle taxi (a mode of transportation that is used for traveling short distances and can hold a maximum of three people). He has been in business for approximately two years and works in the same community where he lives. Even though there are many people who are in the same line of work, Juan tries to start early so that he can carry as many passengers as possible to different places. This allows him to generate more income to meet his expenses and personal needs.

The loan he is requesting from Edpyme Alternativa is in the amount of 1500 PEN and will be used for the necessary maintenance of his motorcycle taxi. This will allow him to continue providing good service and improve his quality of life. Juan is a responsible and hardworking individual. He is also a good son because he always tries to help his mother financially so that she can move forward.
