Jose Fidel's story

Jose is a 46-year-old father of a family who lives with his wife and children in his own house, which lacks basic services. It is located in the rural district of Tambogrande, Piura department. This zone 's economic activity includes agriculture, cattle raising and artisan crafts.

For many years, Jose has been raising and selling sheep. His corral is located in the back part of his house. He feeds them a mixture of feed and natural grasses. Once they reach their ideal size and weight, Jose offers them for sale to the residents of his region, or he sells them in the Tambogrande market. With the income he obtains he pays his household expenses.

Jose is requesting a loan through Edpyme Alternativa for 1,000 new sols to buy more feed to keep his sheep well-fed and thus, to be able to offer them to his customers at a good price, improving his family's quality of life. Jose is a hard-working and very responsible father who only wishes that his children may have future opportunities in life that he could not have.
