A loan helped to buy clothes.

Leonor Del Rosario's story

Leonor is 23 years old. She lives together with her husband and two children in Mórrope district, in Lambayeque. This is a rural area whose main business activity is farming and livestock raising. Leonor and her family live in a small community of approximately 80 families.

Leonor has been raising and selling animals for six years. However, she also has a business selling clothes from her home. She sells the clothes to people in her area and has regular customers who are constantly making orders with her.

Leonor is a hard-working woman who makes sacrifices for her family. She has a great desire to do well and would like to invest in both of her businesses. This is the motivation that led her to request a loan for 1,500 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa. She will use the money to buy clothes to sell and also balanced feed with which to fatten her animals.

Leonor is a long-standing client of our institution and she has a good credit record as she has shown responsibility in paying back her loans.
