A loan of $425 helped to buy a wider variety of socks to improve her range.

Luz Marina's story

Luz Marina is a tireless fighter who, after separating from her husband, needed to set up her own business with the goal of covering her household expenses and supporting her four children. She decided to sell gum, candies and other snacks in the streets of Medellín city center. Later, with the hope of improving her income, she set up a stall in the city center and started selling men's and women's socks in all sizes. Luz Marina currently needs a loan to buy a wider variety of socks so that she can offer a better range to her customers and increase her profits.
