Karem Lisbeth's story

Karen Lisbeth is 20 years and single. She doesn't have any children and lives with her mother in Ventanas canton, in Los Ríos province.

The 'Tierra Nuestra' (Our Land) community bank is located in San Luis de Zapotal, in Ventanas canton. The members of this community bank work in short-cycle agriculture, growing crops such as corn and rice.

Karen is a farmer who grows corn and rice. She buys her products in Comercial AGRIPAC and makes her sales in the wholesale market in Ventanas.

Karen is requesting this loan so that she can grow corn and rice. She will buy seeds and manure. The support of this loan will help her to financially meet her needs. She faces challenges in her business such as pests and a lack of money to pay more workers. Her dream is to some day grow cacao and set up a coffee factory.

Karen enjoys listening to music and dancing.
