A loan of $750 helped to buy a mixer.

Edinson Miguel's story

Miguel, age 24, is an enterprising young man. He lives with his mother in the rural part of the Lambayeque district. He makes and sells “Kingkong” (a typical dessert in the northern part of Peru, made from a base of cookies and blancmange), cookies, and sweets.

Miguel has been engaged in this business activity for three years. He works in a well set up space in his home. He has regular customers in Chiclayo and Lambayeque.

Miguel is requesting a loan for 2,000 soles from Edpyme Alternativa. He will use the loan to buy a mixer to make his products. This will allow him to make a greater quantity and, therefore, increase his sales. Miguel has regular customers in the area.

Miguel is a long-time client of our institution, and he has a good credit history.
