Edith Irma's story

Edith is a member of the Community Bank "Virgen de la Asunción", which is located in the district and province of Yunguyo, in the Department of Puno. She is 33 years old and married with 4 children who are at school. Edith studied until the third year of secondary education.

Edith currently works selling pigs. She has been working with the Manuela Ramos Movement for four lending cycles. Her first loan was for the sum of 500 New Soles, the money was invested in the purchase of bran animal food for a business that she had previously.

With this new loan of 500 New Soles, she will buy four pigs. The Señora works on her own, as her husband has a mototaxi service (transportation).

Her dream is to improve the quality of life for her family, turn her children into professionals, and have a better future.

What she likes about the Community Bank loan is the convenience of the loans.
