Cinthya Grimaneza's story

Cinthya Grimaneza, 22, is single and has no children; she lives with her parents and siblings in Ventanas Canton, Los Ríos Province.

The members of the “Nuevo Amanecer” (New Dawn) communal bank are located in the hamlet of San Luis de Zapotal that belongs to Ventanas Canton. It has 12 members who for the most part farm corn and rice, a very ancient activity.

Cinthya Grimaneza is a corn and rice farmer. She buys her supplies at the PRONACA supply center and her sales take place in the Ventanas wholesale market.

She asks for the loan to plant corn and rice, to buy supplies and fertilizer. Support from the loan will help her economically to meet her needs. She faces challenges like illnesses of her laborers and lack of money to reinvest. Her dream is to have a farm with productive animals like dairy cows.

She enjoys working and playing sports in addition to dancing at parties.
